NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Pride Football Australia Inc. (PFA) will be held virtually, commencing 7.00pm (AEST) on Monday 13 July 2020.

The Committee of Management of PFA hereby gives you notice of the AGM will be held at 7.00pm (AEST) on 13 July 2020.
To attend the AGM, please register your attendance via the 'RSVP' link on this page. A link to attend the online AGM will be sent by email to all registered attendees closer to the date.
Key documents will be distributed by each Organisational Member of PFA (ie. Melbourne Rovers Soccer Club, Sydney Rangers Football Club and The Flying Bats Women's Football Club) to its own members by email or other method. These documents include the Nomination Form, Proxy Nomination Form and Commmittee Role Descriptions. Alternatively, please contact James Cardall (president@pridefootballaustralia.com) for a copy of these documents.
ELECTION OF 2020-21 COMMITTEE
All Committee positions will be vacated at the AGM. The Committee consists of: President; Vice-President; Treasurer; Secretary; Sponsorship Officer; and Ordinary Committee Member. Please see the role descriptions for more information.
Each written nomination for a Committee position must be:
- signed by two (2) committee members of an Organisational Member of PFA; and
- accompanied by the written consent of the nominee.
Use of electronic signatures on the nomination form is acceptable. If electronic signatures are used by Organisational Member signatories, please attach an email from each committee member that confirms use of their electronic signature for the nomination form.
To nominate for a Committee position, please:
- complete the nomination form; and
- send the completed nomination form to James Cardall (president@pridefootballaustralia.com) at least two (2) days before the AGM.
If insufficient nominations are received to fill each vacancies on the Committee, the candidates nominated will be taken to be elected and further nominations are to be received at the AGM.
VOTING AT AGM
On any question arising at the AGM, each Delegate (a nominee for a Committee position) and Player Member (a fully paid member of an Organisational Member) has one vote only.
All votes must be given personally or by proxy but no member may hold more than 3 proxies.
In the case of an equality of votes on a question at the AGM, the chairperson of the meeting is entitled to exercise a second or casting vote.
A Delegate, Player Member or proxy is not entitled to vote at the AGM unless all money due and payable by those members or proxy to PFA has been paid.
APPOINTMENT OF PROXIES
Each Delegate and Player Member is to be entitled to appoint another Delegate or Player Member as proxy by notice, which must be in the possession of the proxy at the AGM. Use of electronic signatures on the proxy nomination form is acceptable.
BUSINESS OF THE AGM
The business of the AGM is to include the following:
1. Welcome and apologies
2. Minutes of previous AGM
3. Committee reports:
a. President Report
b. Treasurer Report and Financial Statements
4. Election of 2020-21 Committee
A Delegate or Player Member desiring to bring any business before the AGM may give notice in writing of that business to the President who must include that business in the next notice calling the AGM given after receipt of the notice of the member.
